John Olson is a third year Environmental Economics and Management major in the Department of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources at Michigan State University. His current research interests focus on issues related to occupational displacement in transportation sectors and changes in worker skill requirements due to AV technology adoption. He began his undergraduate assistantship with the WEAVE project in September 2021. As part of the WEAVE Team, his main job responsibilities include coding and conducting literature reviews.
